This morning, we were thrilled to welcome Chris from Rocksteady Music School Limited for an exciting, high‑energy music session that filled our school with singing, rhythm, and smiles. The hall came alive as Chris performed some of our favourite songs, giving everyone the chance to sing along and enjoy live music together.

We are delighted to share some exciting news at St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School — our brand new library is now open! Situated in the heart of the school, the library has been designed as a calm and inviting space where children can escape into a good book, relax and discover new ideas. With beautiful forest and outdoor-inspired themes running throughout, the space has been carefully created to promote a sense of peace and wellbeing, helping children to feel settled and focused as they read.

A Championship Morning! St Augustine’s Shine at the Darlington Primary Basketball Cup

What an unforgettable morning of sport for St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School in Darlington as two of our talented teams took to the court in the Darlington Primary Basketball Cup! From the very first whistle, both teams showed incredible skill, determination and teamwork — representing our school brilliantly throughout the entire competition. With eight teams taking part, the standard was exceptionally high. But St Augustine’s rose to the challenge. Both of our teams won all three of their group-stage games, securing well-deserved places in the semi-finals.
