Today, Millie spent a wonderful day exploring life across St. Augustine’s, visiting classes from Nursery all the way up to Year 6 — and she had the best time!

Her morning began with a peaceful start in Nursery, where the calm atmosphere helped ease her into the school day. She then headed to the library to enjoy some story time with Reception, listening to the children read and joining in with the fun.

In Year 1, Millie spotted pupils working hard on their handwriting, showing great focus and neat presentation. Meanwhile, Year 2 were busy in the hall for their PE lesson… a little louder than Millie expected, but full of energy and smiles!

Millie continued her tour in Year 3, where pupils were deep in their English work, writing their own creative stories inspired by The Stone Age Boy. Then it was on to Year 4, who proudly shared their brilliant computing work on the school iPads.

Her journey carried on into Year 5, where she took a close look at their impressive science learning, before popping into Year 6 to see the fantastic maths work being produced.

To finish off her day, Millie made it onto the Key Stage 2 yard during break time, where she even managed to meet our Head Boy and Head Girl for a quick photo opportunity.

It was a busy, joyful day full of learning, laughter and proud moments — a true snapshot of life at St. Augustine’s!
