We are delighted to share some exciting news at St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School — our brand new library is now open!
Situated in the heart of the school, the library has been designed as a calm and inviting space where children can escape into a good book, relax and discover new ideas. With beautiful forest and outdoor-inspired themes running throughout, the space has been carefully created to promote a sense of peace and wellbeing, helping children to feel settled and focused as they read.
Reading plays a vital role in children’s learning and development, and this new facility will support pupils of all ages. From sharing stories with younger children to providing a quiet space for older pupils to explore new authors and topics, the library will be a well-used and much-loved part of school life.
