On Wednesday, we had the great privilege of welcoming Bishop Stephen to St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School—a truly memorable occasion for our school community.
Bishop Stephen spent time with pupils and staff, sharing words of encouragement and joining us in prayer and reflection. A highlight of the day was the blessing of our Nursery provision, marking this important part of our school with a special prayer for the children and staff who learn and work there.
This visit was a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn more about faith and leadership within the Church, and to feel connected to the wider diocesan family. The warmth and inspiration Bishop Stephen brought to our school will stay with us for a long time.
We are deeply grateful to Bishop Stephen for taking the time to visit and for making the day so special for everyone at St. Augustine’s.
