Year 1 have been learning about Laudato Si’ and Pope Francis' call to care for our common home.
As part of their learning, the children recycled old bottles and transformed them into bird feeders, putting Catholic Social Teaching into action by demonstrating their commitment to Care for God's Creation. Through this hands-on activity, they explored how everyday choices can help protect and support the world around us.
The creative project provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to think about sustainability, wildlife and the importance of looking after our environment.
A fantastic effort from Year 1, and a wonderful reminder that even small actions can make a big difference!
