Today, Year 6 celebrated the Feast Day of their class saint, St Carlo Acutis, with a special day of reflection, kindness and community.

To mark the occasion, the children wore trainers in recognition of Carlo's life as an ordinary young person who showed that holiness is for everyone. The trainers symbolised that Carlo was a modern teenager who walked the path to sainthood through everyday life, making his example especially meaningful and inspiring for children today.

As part of the celebrations, Year 6 also made friendship bracelets for their Reception buddies. Through this thoughtful act, they shared kindness, friendship and love across our school community. Each bracelet carried the powerful message, "You belong," helping to strengthen the bonds between pupils and reminding everyone that they are valued members of our school family.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate St Carlo Acutis' example of faith, service and care for others, while putting his values into action through simple acts of kindness.

Well done, Year 6, for embracing the spirit of St Carlo and making the day so special for others.
