Pupils across St Augustine's Catholic Primary School came together for prayer and liturgy today, taking part in thoughtful reflections and discussions tailored to their age and stage of learning.
In Year 6, children continued to explore the message of forgiveness and reconciliation from Monday's Scripture reading. Through prayer and reflection, pupils considered how these important values can be lived out in their everyday lives, helping them to build positive relationships and show compassion towards others.
Meanwhile, Year 1 pupils focused on God's wonderful creation, giving thanks for the beauty and wonder of the world around them. Their reflections encouraged a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the gifts of creation.
Throughout the school, pupils demonstrated excellent reverence and respect during prayer and liturgy. They listened attentively, reflected deeply and engaged meaningfully with the themes being shared, helping to create a calm, reflective and prayerful atmosphere in every classroom.
These moments of collective worship continue to play an important role in school life, supporting pupils in their spiritual development and encouraging them to grow in faith, understanding and gratitude.
