Year 6 Family Football Match Celebrates a Decade of Tradition

A Special Part of Year 6 Celebrations

St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School in Darlington recently held its annual Family Football Match as part of the Year 6 celebrations before pupils move on to secondary school.

The event brought together pupils, family members and supporters for an enjoyable evening of football and fun.

Plenty of Goals and Great Spirit

The match was played in excellent spirits, with everyone embracing the occasion and enjoying the opportunity to take part.

With warm weather throughout the evening, plenty of hydration breaks helped keep players refreshed while the action continued on the pitch.

In a fitting celebration during the tenth year of Family Football, the game produced ten goals and plenty of memorable moments.

The event was another fantastic success and a wonderful way for Year 6 pupils and their families to celebrate their time at St Augustine’s together.
