Sunshine, Sandcastles and Seaside Fun

Year 1 pupils at St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School in Darlington enjoyed an amazing trip to Saltburn, making the most of a fantastic day by the coast.

The children soaked up the sunshine as they explored the beach, built impressive sandcastles and spent time enjoying the seaside with their friends.

Creating Special Memories

A highlight of the trip was enjoying delicious ice cream in the warm weather, adding an extra treat to an already exciting day.

The pupils also loved taking a ride on the miniature railway, making the visit even more memorable and giving them a chance to experience one of Saltburn’s popular attractions.

A Wonderful Day Out

The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for children to learn, play and create lasting memories together outside the classroom.

Year 1 had a wonderful time and returned to school with plenty of smiles and stories from their seaside adventure.
