On Monday evening, a talented group of girls from Years 5 and 6 proudly represented St Augustine’s at the annual Darlington Dance Festival, held at the iconic Darlington Hippodrome.

The day began with an exciting opportunity for the girls to take part in a series of dance workshops, where they developed their skills, confidence, and creativity alongside other schools. After this, they headed onto the main stage for rehearsals, giving them the chance to familiarise themselves with the professional theatre setting ahead of the evening performance.

When it came time to perform, the girls truly rose to the occasion. Their fast-paced and entertaining routine showcased not only their dancing ability but also their teamwork and commitment. Working alongside students from Carmel, they created a dynamic performance that was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the students from Carmel for their support and collaboration throughout the day—it made the experience extra special for our pupils.

Well done to all the girls involved. You represented St Augustine’s brilliantly, and we are incredibly proud of you all.
